Our Services

Special Education

Our Himma school program starts daily from 8am – 1pm .

Our special education teachers are licensed at the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as registered behavior Technicians (RBT).

We will assist your child daily with activities including writing and reading skills as well as behavioral modification sessions, in order for them to reach their highest level of independency. The program also includes SLP and OT sessions, tailored to meet every child’s individual needs.

Occupational Therapy

At HIMMA Rehab we help people of all ages who have physical, sensory or cognitive problems. Occupational therapy can help them regain independence in all areas of their lives.

HIMMA occupational therapists help with barriers that affect a patient’s emotional, social and physical needs. They use everyday activities, exercises and other therapies to do this.

Physiotherapy

At HIMMA rehabilitation is an important part of any treatment plan. Our team devises a therapeutic program of restoring physical function and mobility, maintaining physical function and promoting physical activity and proper function for the patient.

Physiotherapy is a comprehensive experience that begins with an initial evaluation and extends through the restorative and preventative stages of recovery.

Speech Therapy

The specialist at HIMMA of Speech-Language therapy focuses on supporting and enhancing the patient’s communication skills, so that they can effectively communicate with others in their environment.

Our HIMMA specialist completes an assessment and identifies their patient’s strengths and areas of need. Based on the assessment results an individualized program will be assigned to the patient.

ABA Therapy

Our approach demonstrates remediation of the core symptoms of developmental delays and helps the patients develop the required skills to function independently in their natural environments.

Our HIMMA ABA therapist can help target many intermediate to advanced goals such as conversation skills, academic support, group/classroom instructions, social skills, independence, life skills, academic support and other individualized targets.

Special Education

HIMMA has a very inclusive approach to patients with special needs and disabilities.

For every patient with special needs – whether emotional, behavioral, visual, intellectual, language, speech or hearing – our team of educators (who specialize in children who learn differently) offer expertise and individualized instruction to struggling students.

Educational Psychology

Our HIMMA psychologists, working in education, focus on identifying and studying learning methods to understand how patients absorb and retain new information.

They develop an assessment to improve the learning capabilities of each patient’s emotional and cognitive processes involved in their individual learning method.

Clinical Dietician

At our center we provide evidence-based nutrition resources to give your patients nutrition and behavior changing advice that aligns with their values, preferences and social determinants of health.

Our key messages are a Guide for Healthy Eating, based on nutrition and food-related education.

Home-Based Therapy

Our team of clinicians assist people who have difficulty in getting to private practices or getting their medical needs met in the comfort of their home.

Factors that could keep someone from getting care include age, chronic medical issues, agoraphobia and responsibilities at home or work.
